  1. Product Overview

Wallet

A full description of the concept of the wallet is available in the "What is SSI?" section. The following page is about the technical aspects of the wallet.

With your Archipels wallet, you will be able to issue, hold, and verify electronic attestations. You can have a wallet that represents you as an individual or as a business.

Archipels wallets are :

  • account based (1 wallet = 1 account)

  • cloud-based

  • secured (encryption keys)

By combining signature and encryption functionalities, the wallet enables users to safeguard their digital interactions—signing to confirm authorship and identity, and encrypting to maintain privacy. The wallet must be protected with strong security measures to prevent unauthorized access, as the keys it contains grant control over the user’s digital presence and sensitive information.
