## Who is Archipels ? 

At Archipels, we want to create an identity layer for a web that is free, transparent, secure and accessible to all.\
\
Based on a blockchain supported by EDF, Engie, La Poste and the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations, the Archipels platform allows to *verify*, *certify* and *simplify* access to online services for all users.\
\
Decentralised, immutable, based on a shared consensus for the validation of transactions (the "*Proof of Authority*"), the Archipels augmented identity platform is sovereign, inclusive and respectful of privacy.

At Archipels, we stand for a free, open, transparent, secure and verifiable internet. We believe that the transition to Web 3, powered by decentralised protocols and a *Self Sovereign Identity* approach, will allow all individuals to regain control of the Internet and become its main actors.
